Iron Fitting
Lie angle and set gapping matter more than any single loft number. We check both across the whole set, club by club, under the exact same room conditions.
What the Impact Plate Actually Catches
Static lie angle, measured with the club sitting still, rarely matches what happens at impact. The pressure-mapped plate reads dynamic lie the instant you strike the ball, which is what actually determines whether your misses are pulling left or leaking right.
Once lie is dialed in, we move to full-set gapping so every club sits a consistent distance apart instead of bunching up in the middle of the bag.
What Decides the Final Spec
Lie Angle
A degree or two off can push misses consistently one direction, no matter how solid the contact feels.
Shaft Weight & Flex
Heavier steel shafts tend to tighten dispersion for faster swingers; lighter options can add speed for players who need it.
Set Composition
We flag where a long iron is better replaced by a hybrid, and where a gap wedge is quietly missing from the bottom of the set.
Get the Whole Set Talking to Each Other
Full iron set sessions run 60–90 minutes and end with a complete gapping chart.
