Answers Before You Even Have to Call
Sorted into two piles: things people wonder about before they've decided to book, and the logistics that only come up once someone's actually picking a date.
Before You Book
Q1Can numbers from a camera-and-plate setup really be trusted?
It's usually the first thing anyone asks, and it's a fair one. We run scheduled trips out to local courses specifically to keep the studio's readings tied to reality, comparing the same clubs against outdoor flight. Most players end up within a few yards of what their own scorecard already told them.
Q2What do I need to bring along?
Whatever clubs you're currently gaming in the category you're testing, the shoes you'd actually wear on the course, and a general feel for your scoring range. Precision isn't the point here — we'll get the numbers.
Q3Do you fit left-handed players?
Every category on the demo wall stocks left-handed options, and the optical rig tracks a swing the same way regardless of which side of the ball you set up on. No special request needed.
Q4My current clubs feel okay — why would I still come in?
A surprising number of appointments aren't shopping trips at all. Some players just want proof that what's already in the bag is actually right for them, or a quick dynamic lie check on clubs they have zero plans to replace. Both are perfectly good reasons to schedule time.
Q5Do you close down when the storms roll through?
Never — and hurricane-season afternoons tend to be some of our busiest slots, honestly. The studio holds at 73°F no matter what's stacking up over the Gulf, which is really the whole reason this operation exists indoors to begin with.
Q6Where do most clients drive in from?
We sit near the Gulf to Bay corridor, and beyond Clearwater proper we see a steady stream of players coming over from Dunedin, Largo, and Safety Harbor. Nothing on the Pinellas side of the bay is more than a short drive.
Scheduling & Cost
Q7How much of my day should I set aside?
A single club fitting typically wraps inside an hour. Bump that to closer to ninety minutes for a full set of irons, and block off two to three hours if we're going driver to putter in one visit.
Q8Am I obligated to buy anything afterward?
Never. You keep your printed numbers no matter what you decide. If a build does happen later, the session fee gets deducted from that invoice automatically — nobody's tracking you down to close the sale.
Q9Once I place an order, what's the turnaround?
Roughly a week in most cases. Parts live on-site and builds happen in-house, so there's no outside vendor holding things up on the shipping end.
Q10What happens if a new club doesn't feel right once I'm home?
Bring it back inside three weeks and we'll adjust lie, loft, or length at no additional cost while your swing settles into the new specs.
Q11Can you just check one club I already own?
Of course. That works as a short standalone visit or as one piece of a bigger session — whichever gets you the answer you're actually after.
